Covenant or contract is an important theme in the Bible. God made covenants with His people. He deals with them according to the covenants He made with them. Today we are under God’s New Covenant. For all God’s dealings with us in addition to our dealings with God will be governed by this New Covenant. We are therefore called to have New Covenant Living as well as New Covenant Ministry. It is hence extremely essential for us to be sure that our living and ministry are of the New Covenant way.

Though an advocate of grace and a rebel against Satan's indoctrination of the law into the covenant of grace, Brother Kaung's book opened my eyes to how even I have allowed the law to creep into my service of God and ministry to others. It is a much needed book with teachings that are needed in the church as a whole so the Holy Spirit can keep us from being sidetracked.
